Located in North Vancouver, our team provided architectural and interior design services for this
custom-built residence. The project spans a substantial area, including an accessory building
designed as an outdoor barbecue area. The team at EWAN expertly managed the permitting process
and ensured a seamless transition from design to construction for the client.

The residence features both front and rear lawns, which served as key elements in determining the
layout. In line with the client’s vision, the main floor is designed as an open-plan space, with
interconnected areas and full-length openings that maximize the outdoor views. The kitchen extends
into the outdoor patio, creating a natural connection to the barbecue area. This seamless integration
of indoor and outdoor spaces allows the family to fully enjoy their home.
A distinctive feature of the design is the double-height entry foyer, which acts as a transitional space
between the private areas and the entry for visitors. The foyer is enhanced with stone-clad accent
walls and a floating staircase, while glass railings highlight the delicate, sculptural nature of the
space, embodying a true contemporary aesthetic.
