2857-Crestlyn Drive-DNV

The client engaged us for both architectural and interior design services, as well as assistance with
the building permit process. The design brief also included an accessory building, specifically an
outdoor kitchen. This space is seamlessly integrated with the interior through a transparent
envelope, allowing for continuous visual connection, even from the sitting area indoors. The sense of
openness is further enhanced throughout the home by incorporating large windows and a bright,
white color scheme that reflects natural light. The use of wooden flooring adds depth and balance,
providing a warm contrast with darker hues.
The centrally placed staircase serves as a defining element within the open-plan layout, effectively
dividing the spaces into communal and private areas. For the exterior, the design strikes a
harmonious balance between traditional and contemporary styles. The low-sloping roofs,
complemented by stone and wood cladding, successfully achieve this fusion.
